Frequently asked questions

Will I get to check the poem before it gets delivered?

Absolutely, I will always send you a first draft for you to review and to let me know if you would like anything removed, added or changed. I will also ask you at this stage to confirm if you are happy with the font and colours. A final copy will be sent to you to sign off on before it is printed (if applicable) and sent out to you. Your cooperation and turnaround of providing comments is pivotal in you receiving your final poem within the agreed timeframe and will be subject to delays if you do not respond within 2 days.

Why do your poem prices say "from £X" amount?

.This is due to the type of poem I offer. You are able to order a poem in the following formats:
1) Digital 
2) Printed and posted 
3) Framed,

At checkout you can choose the format of poem you would like. The "from" price typically references the digital version of the poem.

How does the order process work?

When you reach the checkout  on our website, you will note there is a box on the checkout form to include all the information you need for personalisation. If you need  more space you can email me with your order number the full information. . If you are unsure what to include in your information you can drop me an email, look at some of our examples, or take a look at my prompts below

I am stuck on what information I need to provide you with to make my personalised poem - help!

 The information I need depends on the type of poem you order and we can discuss some examples at the time of order. As a general rule:
If it is about a person: tell me about why they are important to you, your memories with them, their traits, what you hope for them. If it is for bridesmaid proposals, tell me why you think they are perfect for the role.
If it is about an event: Tell me all the usual details of when, where, why, any special moments that may be occurring and what you want people to know from the poem. If it is an engagement party, tell me about your love story, special moments, pet names, how you met, favourite things about each over.  

Do you write the poems yourself or use tools to assist with the rhyming poems?

I am proud that each and every poem ever created by Time Rhyme is 100% original and unique. I love what I do and thrive off of the creativity the business allows me to use.  No AI tools or others are used in creating my products. I only use tools to visually enhance/produce the poem by uploading the poems onto my templates with Canva.

How long will my poem take?

Timing depends on the type and quantity of poems you require. As an example, all individual digital poems require at least 7 days notice. All individual printed or framed poems require at least 2 weeks notice. For packages and large quantities of poems, the delivery date shall be agreed once the full nature of the package is determined.  Timing for packages will also be dependent on your co-operation in providing your feedback within agreed timeframes too and therefore can be subject to delays. 
If you require a poem outside of the timeframes above, please email me at timerhyme@outlook.com and if I have availability, I may be able to accommodate.  All poems produced outside of the timeframes above will incur a quick turnaround fee due to the urgency save for my funeral poems which I never charge extra for.

Do you post our poems on social media and/or your website without our permission?

No. I will always check in our order form if you are comfortable with me posting your poems on our social media platforms and website. I also ask you to confirm when you are providing the recipient(s) with the poems so I can be sure I do not spoil the surprise ahead of them receiving it. Sharing my work does really help me grow the business so I would be grateful if you would allow us to share online however, if you do not want me to that is absolutely fine. I love to hear your feedback so a review would go a long way. 

Why is payment taken at the time of order?

Like most product based business, it is customary to take payment in advance.  In addition, my poems require a large amount of time and effort and once I provide you with a copy it is hard to prevent that being used without payment. To ensure my work is protected, payment is taken at the time of order.  For larger orders and packages, I request a 50% deposit at the time of ordering and final payment 2 weeks before the agreed deadline for delivery. 

Do you accept refunds?

 Due to the personalised nature of our poems, I cannot accept any refunds unless a physical product is damaged. I always send my customers a first draft of the poem and ask you to sign off on it and/or request any changes you may want. Once the final draft is prepared I also ask you to sign off on that before it is printed/delivered. This eliminates the need for a refund as you would have confirmed you were happy before the products were finalised.  If for any reason your poem is damaged please get in contact with me.
